RECOVERY
The first week is not the same week for everyone.
Bariatric, orthopedic, cosmetic, or general surgery. Your suite, your nursing support, and your daily rhythm are built around what your body needs next.
WHAT EVERY STAY INCLUDES
The royal treatment, itemized.
Nothing on this list is a metaphor.
- A private suite, one guest at a time
- Transport from the surgical center to your suite
- Transport to your first post-operative appointment
- Chef-prepared meals, served to your surgeon's dietary instructions
- Water, broth, and anything soft, at any hour
- Laundry, linens, and a bed made while you walk the hall
- Compression garment fitted before surgery and refitted as swelling changes
- Your prescriptions filled and waiting when you arrive
- Your surgeon's office called, so you do not have to
- Overnight staffing on site
- Someone to walk beside you the first time you get up
- One bell to ring, for anything about your stay
Nursing is separate, and that is deliberate. Clinical care is provided by an independent licensed West Virginia home health agency that contracts directly with you, under your surgeon's written orders, and bills you separately. Royal Rose Suites provides the suite, the meals, the transport, and the coordination. We are not a licensed medical facility and we employ no nurses.
PROCEDURES
What we plan around.
3 TO 4 NIGHTS
Bariatric recovery
Fluid and protein staging, small volumes on a clock, and an ambulation schedule someone keeps for you.
5 TO 7 NIGHTS
Hip and orthopedic recovery
Bed height, toilet height, walker clearance, and a flat floor for the first week of weight bearing.
5 TO 10 NIGHTS
Cosmetic surgery recovery
Privacy, positioning, and the garment. Drainage series and refit scheduled around your surgeon's protocol.
2 TO 5 NIGHTS
General surgery recovery
For the person discharged alone. Call us and we build the week around your written orders.
1 NIGHT
The night before
Stay with us the night before your procedure. Morning transport to your surgical center. Your suite waiting when you come back. You arrive calm and recover somewhere you already know.
Not on this list? Tell us the procedure and the discharge date, and we will tell you how many nights to plan. Call (304) 871-6190
IF YOU ARE COMING ALONE
You will not need someone with a car to recover here.
Most people book this stay precisely because there is nobody to drive them, watch them overnight, or sit beside them while they heal.
No one to drive you home
Anesthesia protocols require a responsible adult at discharge. Many people either do not have one or do not want to ask. Where your surgical facility's policy allows it, a nurse from your licensed home health agency can receive the handoff and accompany you. We confirm what your facility permits before your date.
No one to sit with you that first night
Your suite has staff on site overnight. Vitals, pain, nausea, drains, and hydration are handled by your agency nurse on the schedule your surgeon set, at the coverage level you choose. You sleep without setting an alarm for your own medication.
No one to make you eat, walk, or remember
Meals are prepared and brought to your suite on your surgeon's timeline. Short walks happen when your nurse clears them. Your medication times and follow-up reminders are tracked for you.
No one to call if something feels off
Your agency nurse is the call. The agency contacts your surgeon or the on-call coverage and activates 911 when clinically indicated. You will not have to decide alone whether something is normal.
You are not a burden for booking this alone. You are exactly who this was built for.
THE SUITE
Yours alone.
One guest at a time. The lights are already dimmed when you arrive. The bed is made. Warm broth on the bedside table, quiet, and someone to settle you in.
The bedroom
Hotel linens, blackout curtains, and lighting tuned low for rest.
The bath
Walk-in shower, discreet grab bars, a bench, and towels within reach without bending.
Dining in your room
Every meal brought up. Broth and electrolytes at any hour.
Positioning
Wedges, pillows, and a bed set to the height your procedure needs.
In the room
Sound machine, mini-fridge, robe, slippers, and a call button.
Companion space
A sitting and sleeping area for the person you brought. Companion rate $295 per night.
We are not going to show you a suite that does not exist yet. Photography goes up the day the doors open. Everything above is what to expect.
RATES
Longer stays are priced lower per night.
Rates cover your suite, meals, transport, laundry, garment fitting, and coordination. Nursing is contracted with and billed by the independent licensed home health agency, scoped to your surgeon's orders and the coverage level you choose. We quote both on your first call.
QUESTIONS
What people ask first.
Are you a medical facility?
No. We provide private accommodations, meals, transport, and coordination. All clinical and nursing care is delivered by an independent licensed home health agency under your surgeon's written orders. We employ no nurses.
What does a stay cost?
The rates above cover your suite and everything in it. Nursing is quoted separately by the agency based on your surgeon's orders and the coverage level you choose. We give you both numbers before you commit to anything.
How is payment handled?
You pay us for the stay. You pay the agency for nursing. Two invoices, two entities, on purpose.
Can my spouse or family member stay with me?
Yes. The companion room is $295 per night and includes meals.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Your agency nurse assesses, contacts your surgeon or the on-call coverage, and activates 911 when clinically indicated. We hold a written transfer agreement with a local hospital.
Do you take insurance?
No. Stays are private pay. Some guests use HSA or FSA funds for the nursing portion. Ask your plan.
How do I get on the list?
Fill out the form below or call. We open in 2027, and we reach out sooner if your surgery date is close.
